The Chancellor of the Exchequer will unveil his first Budget since the general election on November 22, but what will his announcement mean for Lancashire businesses?
Following Philip Hammond’s highly anticipated Autumn Budget, Pierce Chartered Accountants is hosting an event on Friday 24 November to discuss the topics raised and highlight the opportunities for individuals and companies.
After setting the date, Mr Hammond described the Budget as an opportunity for the Government to “set out our thinking on how to keep the economy strong and resilient and fair – an economy that works for everyone.”
The Chancellor has hinted that the Autumn Budget will become the only financial statement of the year.
Discussing the Autumn Budget will be Pierce director Nadeem Hussain; senior tax manager Anne Wilson and chairman John Green.
Our free event starts at 7.30am with a cooked breakfast followed by presentations from Pierce’s specialists offering in-depth analysis. The event will conclude with a question and answer session and an opportunity to network with members of the business community.
The Budget Breakfast is a complimentary event, but due to high demand, those interested in attending must pre-register here: http://www.pierce.co.uk/about/pierce-events/the-2017-chancellors-autumn-budget/
