Haines Watts Liverpool help nurture future leaders

""

Two Associate Directors from Haines Watts Liverpool have embarked on a national training programme which aims to nurture in-house talent.

Vikki Wynne and Kate Taylor, both from the Victoria Street office, are undergoing the Leadership Development Programme, which is being delivered in collaboration with the Leadership Trust.

The innovative training scheme programme enables participants to obtain the skills needed to match their present and future career goals within Haines Watts – taking into consideration both local and wider group strategy.

Director of Haines Watts Russell Silverman said: “Having teamed up with the Leadership Trust, which is renowned across the UK for delivering bespoke training programmes to influence leadership and personal development, the Leadership Development Programme offers a structured, yet flexible agenda to team members at Haines Watts.

“The two year course aims to educate, support and develop individuals with the main purpose of investing in in-house talent to help them to become leaders of the future.

“Out of the 16 nationwide candidates, we are extremely proud to have had two team members selected from our Liverpool office. Prior to their appointment as associate directors, Vikki and Kate were nominated for the program due to their eagerness to progress and develop within their roles.

“As their first year of the programme is coming to an end, it is evident that the pair have gained a wealth of new skills and heightened confidence when it comes to managing and taking ownership.”

Before progressing to the second year of the Leadership Development Programme, all 16 candidates have undertaken a panel assessment, which took place during April. They now move onto four residential modules with the Leadership Trust, and will also take part in mentoring and coaching.

Russell added: “By participating in the Leadership Development Programme, candidates are able to construct personal development plans to meet their aspirations. Being part of a training course of this calibre means that individuals are given the tools and support needed to ultimately become forward-thinking leaders of the future.”
