McLintocks Chartered Accountants appoints new director

""

McLintocks Chartered Accountants has appointed Karl Rosedale as a result of his impressive national recognition and expertise in the sports and entertainment industry. As a previous director at Smith & Williamson in Manchester, Karl has provided expert knowledge and advice to an array of high net-worth individuals including professional footballers and their agents.

In line with McLintocks’ company expansion, Karl will now work alongside fellow director Alastair Jeffcott and the rest of the team to further develop his strong connections with professional advisors and intermediaries.

Alastair said: “Karl’s appointment is a major boost to the development of the firm, as we are now being seen as the ‘go to’ firm for accounting, taxation and advisory services in the region. As Karl upholds a pristine reputation on a national scale, he is already starting to win a series of notable contracts and welcome new clients to the firm.

“His new senior role is another part of the strategic plan to make McLintocks one of the leading accounting firms in the North West for many years to come”.

Having lived most of his life in Chester, Karl is married with five children and remains a keen football fan and cyclist. In 2010, Karl cycled across the USA from coast to coast in 30 days raising in excess of £100,000 for a local charity.

Karl said: “It’s very exciting to have become a part of the specialist team at McLintocks. As a leading accountancy firm that maintains such a prominent stance within the fast-paced industry, I’m sure that my experience and expertise within the sector can certainly bring something new to the constantly evolving firm.”

With locations in Chester, Birkenhead and Wrexham, McLintocks has more than four decades’ worth of experience dealing with all aspects of accountancy, audit, business advisory and tax planning services.

CEO of McLintocks Mike Caputo added: “It’s great to see McLintocks growing at a rapid pace and it’s so rewarding to welcome a new director to our firm’s Chester office. Karl’s role will see him developing both new and existing business connections to further our reach when it comes to delivering astute and practical advice to the sports and entertainment industry.”
