CarFinance 247 eyes further growth in 2017

THE UKs fastest growing online motor finance firm CarFinance 247 has revealed a new brand identity and launched a refreshed website as it lays foundations for ambitious expansion in 2017.

CarFinance 247 eyes further growth in 2017

"The new look reflects our evolution and marks the start of an exciting new chapter with regards our future direction. "
Reg Rix, Managing Director

The new logo, brand look, website and member’s area comes on the back of CarFinance 247’s most successful year to date, where it achieved a 154% increase in turnover and 122% growth in the value of brokered loans. It was (last month) voted the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track fifth fastest growing private business in 2016 and its business innovations have been recognised with a string of industry awards throughout the past 12 months.

CarFinance 247 attracts more than 6m visits to its website every year and by adding new customer-facing features to its web platform it is aiming to convert more of this traffic into finance applications. It has also updated its bespoke approval process, which means initial decisions can now be delivered to customers within just 10 seconds.

Other innovations include an improved member’s area, where approved customers can search for cars from over 110,000 vehicles advertised by trusted dealers, and a new blog #CarTorque with editorial contributions from acclaimed motoring writer James Foxall.

The business is owned and run by brothers Reg and Louis Rix, both of whom were recognised in in this year’s EY Entrepreneur awards (north west).

Managing director Reg Rix said:

“It’s been an incredible journey over the past 10 years. The new look reflects our evolution and marks the start of an exciting new chapter with regards our future direction.

“As well as major changes to the customer experience and user journey, internally we have also launched Academy 247 to help nurture staff development.”

Rix added: “Our ethos is simple. We believe you can’t ever stand still as a business. While consumer habits are ever changing, so must the technology with which to serve them. We’re already revolutionising our sector and have ambitions to go even further with more industry-firsts in 2017.

“Industry experts are predicting growth in our sector online and we feel we’re in a fantastic position to achieve another record breaking year.”

Louis Rix, who heads up CarFinance 247’s marketing operations, said:

“We have reinvested in the business on the back of a phenomenal couple of years and completely overhauled our marketing, most significantly to the hub of our operation - the website - to capitalise on the traffic we’re now achieving and the fact that brand awareness is at an all-time high.

“Many of the changes are about communicating with customers on their terms, and we are working hand-in-hand with industry regulatory bodies to not only achieve industry best-practice but set new standards with regards to compliance.

“To support our improvements, we’ve made three significant hires; we have a new head of compliance, new head of marketing and head of brand.”
